As a novice in system administration, I often face various challenges and learn from practical experiences. I need to grasp fundamental knowledge of systems and networks, as well as the ability to handle complex technical issues. I also need to learn how to interact and collaborate with members of the organization to understand their needs and requirements, thereby providing appropriate solutions and support.
Learning knowledge in the field of system administration requires me to combine theoretical foundation with hands-on practice. I typically start by mastering basic concepts such as operating systems, computer networks, information security, and data management. I then expand my knowledge by engaging in hands-on practice on test and real environments, ranging from system installation and configuration to troubleshooting and performance optimization. Additionally, keeping up with study materials, books, journals, blogs, and online forums is also essential for me to stay updated on the latest information and advancements in the industry.
